What is Telepractice?

An Innovative Delivery of Speech & Language Services

Approved by the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association (ASHA), telepractice is an innovative delivery of speech and language services. Telepractice provides real-time, face to face services with a seasoned clinician via online videoconferencing. To learn more about the benefits of telepractice, contact CEO Alison Waldmann, MS CCC-SLP.

Telepractice allows audiologists and speech-language pathologists to deliver professional services to clients via video phone or video conferencing software. Telepractice may be used to overcome barriers of access to services caused by distance, unavailability of specialists and/or subspecialists, and impaired mobility. http://www.asha.org/Practice/telepractice/
